What Gen Z trends should we watch out for in 2024?

The rise of Wellness online and Wellness online in a healthy achievable way, young people want to learn and be educated on how they can live well and be well.

But the messaging needs to be obtainable, showing wellness in a way that makes you feel empowered and not bad about themselves. That what they’re viewing is totally unattainable.

Three other areas we’ve identified from our latest trends report that we know Gen Z want to see from brands:

1. Product quality, they want products that feel good, look good, but also will last the test of time.

2. Good brand ambassadors. If we’re going to align your brand with a creator, Gen Z want to know that it’s an authentic partnership.

3. Sustainability. Top of Gen Z’s mind that we’re heading to the New Year 2024 sustainability, making those good choices for the planet in which we live on.

How can brands drive authentic engagement with Gen Z?

Now, we talk time and time again when discussing Gen Z that it really isn’t about one cohort of people. It’s aiming to speak to individuals and in my view for 2024, it’s all about the person and not the group to drive real authentic engagement,

And what should brands be doing to get in front of the Gen Z audience?

Begin understanding your audience and understanding first hand their feelings and attitudes directly to your brand concept testing, going into field with your audience and direct touch points with Gen Z is essential to make sure that we are working for them and speaking to them in a way that they can resonate with and not be too prescriptive.

And let’s not worry about it being on every single platform, Instagram, TikTok Discord, but to understand which platform represents your brand, your value and your messaging best.

And let’s do one well, rather than ticking the box on every single platform around.
