About the role
As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join us and develop our sales across the United States.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to play a crucial role by growing and managing affiliate partnerships with some of the biggest, most successful and high profile brands. The right candidate will thrive in a fast paced environment, manage the full sales cycle, while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
- Research and identify new accounts across the US and establish contact via cold calling, email outreach, and other means, as necessary
- Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external leads to build pipelines and client relationships
- Partnering with our B2B Marketing teams to develop pitch decks that clearly align the brand value proposition with the prospect’s interests and capabilities
- Lead and manage negotiations of deal terms, taking full ownership of the full sales process

About the Role
As a result of our steady growth plan within the Finance function of our business, we are looking for a Revenue Accountant to join the team! You will play a key role within the wider Finance function, whilst also supporting and working with some of our commercial teams here at Student Beans in order to account for our revenue. You’ll be part of a business which works with some of the world’s biggest brands, including TopShop, Lego, Asos, GymShark and Google … to name a few!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on all revenue & commercial accounting matters; enabling best practice on related matters such as billing, revenue recognition, accrued/deferred income, and provisions.
- Being able to understand the “why” behind the numbers with a commercial understanding
- Ownership of the required revenue accounting actions , including reconciliations of revenue streams and month end journal entries.
- Business partner with commercial and operation teams to ensure accurate reporting and valuable insights leveraged
- Create effective relationships with stakeholders, including Finance Operations team and FP&A, Commercial teams, to facilitate progression of initiatives.
- Working with Finance Leadership to assist with ad-hoc analysis / one-off projects
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have experience in the following:
- 3+ years experience within a finance department environment
- Previous role(s) should include accounts receivable, GL accounting, and/or revenue accounting
- Part Qualified, studying CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
- Good understanding of accounting principles and policies
- High degree of analytical and problem solving skills
- Familiar with accounting software such as Xero, and also highly proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, prioritisation and time management skills

About the role
As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for a Senior Agile Coach to join us. You will be joining a current agile enablement team of 4, who work with squads and tribes to drive efficiency and value through agile ways of working.
Responsibilities include:
- Enabling product squads and tribes through the application of agile practices such as coaching, mentoring and supporting individuals and teams
- Developing multiple squads to become high performing and coaching members to become self organising
- Confidently facilitating agile sessions to improve ways of working, decision making and value delivery
- Proactively using data to help shape, view and manage improvements within squads and tribes
- Promoting lean agile principles and processes within the squads to drive value for Student Beans and users
- Collaborating with the Agile Enablement team to identify systemic issues across the Product Engineering Team
- Being able to work cross functionally between Product and Engineering to ensure squads work as seamlessly as possible
- Foreseeing and predicting potential future issues/problems and ways to overcome them by applying a health check model
- Working with Senior Leadership to shape and influence strategic focus and ensure aligned autonomy
Requirements
A little bit about you…
We’d really like to hear from you, if you have…
- Previously worked within a Product Delivery environment, embedded within multidisciplinary Product and Engineering teams at Senior level
- Experience of the practical application of Kanban, Scrum, ToC and systems thinking
- Experience teaching and coaching individuals and groups at Senior levels in agile practices
- Experience influencing strategic alignment for individual squads
- Experience supporting tribes and squads to use OKRs effectively, in a way that is useful to them
- Proactive approach to misalignment and ability to overcome dysfunction within a team
- Confident with applying data, and using it to make informed decisions
- Strong stakeholder management of senior leadership and coaching at this level
- Ability to adapt to an ever changing environment.
- Previous experience working with newly formed squads is beneficial
