Let’s quickly run through what you need to start using Connect to run your in-app student discount offer.
Firstly, you’ll need to create an offer in your app with a call to action button.
You’ll also need to share a few assets with us so that we can create an engaging listing of your student discount to add to our app and website too!
All we need are details of your brand and your offer. We’ll also require your brand logo and a few lifestyle images representative of your brand – all things you’ll most likely already have!
Next, we’ll send you an AppsFlyer OneLink, which you will need to embed behind your call to action button. This link will essentially send your app users to your student discount offer on the Student Beans App, so we can verify their student status to ensure they’re eligible to redeem your offer.
We verify their student status from the established direct integrations we have with academic institutions – our systems check the user’s selected institution in real-time to confirm they’re in fact a student.
Once verified on the Student Beans App, Connect facilitates the redemption of your offer by revealing a code for the student to complete their purchase via your app, or by revealing their Student Beans ID to complete their purchase in-store. If you want verified students to complete their purchase in your app then you will need to send us a deep-link or universal link, usually created from your mobile measurement partner so we can send them directly back to your app to complete checkout.
