PI Live Spin the Wheel 2021 Prize Draw

Terms and Conditions:

Opening Date: 19 October 2021.

Closing Date: 21 October 2021.

1. Eligibility: The entrant (“you”) must be a representative of a validly incorporated English entity which provides goods and/or services which may benefit students. You must also have more than 500,000 monthly website visitors to your main website from which you sell or promote such goods or services. This prize draw is not open to employees of Student Beans, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
2. The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. Upon submitting the form and spinning the wheel, you will be entered into the prize draw. A confirmation email will be sent to you once the form has been submitted along with our Top 11 Campaigns guide.
3. Entries received after the Closing Time will not be valid.
4. A winner will be chosen by random draw and will be notified on the day via email (using details provided at entry). In the event that the winner is unreachable, ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within 2 days of being notified as the winner, the winner shall forfeit the prize.
5. Student Beans accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure, of any kind. Student Beans accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach Student Beans by the Closing Date.
6. The Prize: a x 4 week listing on the Student Beans website and app from 1 November 2021 until 30 November 2021.

The Prize is conditional upon you:

(i) agreeing to comply with the Student Beans standard terms and conditions and any other terms which Student Beans may ask you to comply with; and
(ii) you providing Student Beans will your brand materials which may be necessary for the prize fulfilment by 5pm on 25 October 2021.

7. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. Student Beans retains the right to refuse to honour the prize if it deems that you, your brand or the goods and/or services offered by you have the ability to bring Student Beans into disrepute or you are in any way an unsuitable brand partner. The prize may only be claimed once and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, prize draw or promotion which may be run by Student Beans.
8. Student Beans reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Student Beans’ control makes it necessary to do so.
9. The decision of Student Beans regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
10. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. Student Beans reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
11. Student Beans reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
12. Student Beans excludes liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the prize draw or with the acceptance or possession of the prize.
13. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the privacy policy below.
14. Student Beans reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time, at its sole discretion.
15. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

We take our commitment to data protection very seriously and we even find data protection interesting (yes, really!).

We want to be clear and transparent with you about how we use your data, not only is that because it’s the law but more importantly, we believe it’s the right thing to do!

Collection of Personal Data
This prize draw captures personal data from you which may include your first and last name, work email address, company name, telephone number and country.

Protection & Processing of Personal Data
We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to third parties. All personal data is stored and processed with commercially reasonable security measures consistent with industry standards in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and interception of information by third parties. Because the internet is an open system, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will implement all reasonable measures to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to us using the internet – any such transmission is at your own risk and you are responsible for ensuring that any personal data that you send to us are sent securely.

Student Beans also imposes strict internal controls over employees with access to systems used in the storage and processing of personal data. Such access is granted on a need-to-know basis only.
Please note that we may disclose your personal data to: legal and regulatory authorities; any party as necessary in connection with legal proceedings; any party as necessary for investigating, detecting or preventing criminal offenses; or any purchaser of our business.
If we engage a third-party processor to process your personal data for any legitimate business purpose, the processor will be subject to binding contractual obligations to: only process the personal data in accordance with our prior written instructions; and use measures to protect the confidentiality and security of the personal data; together with any additional requirements under applicable law.

Data Retention & Erasure
We take every reasonable step to ensure that your personal data is only retained for as long as it is needed in connection with a lawful purpose, at which time we will either (i) permanently delete or destroy the relevant personal data or (ii) anonymise the relevant personal data.

You have many rights relating to your personal data that we store and process, including:
– The right not to provide personal data;
– The right of access to your personal data;
– The right to request rectification of inaccuracies;
– The right to request the erasure, or restriction of processing, of your personal data;
– The right to object to the processing of your personal data;
– The right to withdraw consent; and,
