Golden Link Awards APAC: Student Beans’ Simone Lawson wins Affiliate Manager of the Year

Simone has won the award for Affiliate Manager of the Year in the Publisher category for her incredible work with Student Beans partner, Princess Polly. Her win was announced during a virtual ceremony on 21st October, hosted by Rakuten Advertising.

We are proud to share that Student Beans’ very own Simone Lawson is a winner in this year’s Golden Link Awards APAC. Simone has been recognised for the strong relationships she has with her key accounts, by being awarded Affiliate Manager of Year in the Publisher category. Event organisers Rakuten Advertising announced the win during the virtual awards ceremony on 21st October. The ceremony bought together advertisers and publisher partners from across the globe to acknowledge the best and the brightest of the digital marketing industry.

The Golden Link Awards celebrate excellence and innovation in the performance marketing, retail and eCommerce industry. This year’s winners were chosen by a judging panel of industry experts: Charlotte McEleny from The Drum Asia, Nathan Brown from Global Marketplace, Jenn Thomas from AB Australia, and Rakuten Advertising’s Mike Chin.

Commenting on the Golden Link Awards, Stuart McLennan, Senior Vice President of APAC at Rakuten Advertising said, “The calibre of the entries this year were incredible. Our finalists truly demonstrated the quality of work produced from the APAC region on a global scale. Our winners this year have shown that the innovation in the performance marketing industry is continuously growing and evolving. In the midst of the most important quarter of the year, this is a great reminder of how our industry significantly contributes to a brand’s strategy and success.”

Simone has seen exceptional results with her key accounts over the last year, with a special mention going to her relationship with online fashion brand, Princess Polly. As well as year-round activity, Simone has worked with the brand on numerous touchpoints for their US expansion, plus key events in the student calendar – including Cyber Week, Welcome Week in Australia and Back to School in the US. Her hard work and dedication has generated incredible results and secured strong partnerships – making her a well-deserved winner in this year’s awards.

Princess Polly’s Global Performance Director, Kim Zorn, commented: “Simone constantly goes above and beyond to make sure all targets are met and always finds exciting new opportunities to help grow our partnership. She is an extension of the Princess Polly team and we would be absolutely lost without her.”

Huge congratulations to Simone on her incredible achievement – and well done to all other winners in this year’s awards!
