This weekend was a big one here at Student Beans – once again, we were featured in The Sunday Times Tech Track 100! After a year full of surprises for everyone we’re excited to be growing, and connecting brands with students on a global scale.
For the second year running, Student Beans has made the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 List, which celebrates the fastest-growing private tech companies in Britain. We’re delighted to have beaten our 2019 listing of 83, coming in at number 79 for 2020.
Tech Track – which is compiled by Fast Track – ranks private tech companies with the fastest-growing sales over the past three years, celebrating their successes and providing an overview of the companies to watch year-on-year.
Here at Student Beans, we’re excited to be growing faster than ever before. Our goal has always been to connect students with brands that they will love, bringing a whole new generation onboard for the brands we work with and creating loyal consumers for years to come.
Our unique student verification technology is now operating around the world, and students can access discounts seamlessly at any time via our website and app – none of which would be possible without our ever-expanding team of engineers. Dedicated account managers have spent the past year working alongside our clients to maximize their student marketing strategy in what was one of the most challenging hurdles of recent years – COVID-19. And our focus has always been insights-led; we’ve brought our pioneering student research to brands looking to truly understand what Gen Z expects from them.
As students across the world dealt with the repercussions of COVID-19, they were forced to adapt – and Student Beans adapted with them. From our virtual freshers festival to our face masks campaign, we’ve kept the finger on the pulse of what young people need to embrace the new normal. On the flip side, we’ve worked closely with our clients, bringing them the latest insights into how students were experiencing the pandemic.
We approach the end of 2020 with a strong team working across London, Manchester and Birmingham, and our offices in Melbourne and New York continue to fuel our global growth. This past year we have made leaps and bounds into China in particular, taking on new clients across the territory. We are now live in 52 countries – and we can’t wait to see where we head next.
