About the role

As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for an Android Engineer to join us. Responsibilities include:

  • Daily communication with their squad, participating in planning, discussion and development of new functionality and features
  • Working with both senior and junior colleagues within both the Android and cross-functional teams – we’d love for this individual to be passionate about helping out less experienced members of the team where needed.

About You

About the Role

Requirements

We would really love to hear from you if you fit in with the following requirements for this role:

  • Part qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or qualified by experience.
  • Any experience with OnPlan or automated planning system is preferred but not absolutely essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to interact, educate and influence individuals at all levels of the business
  • Relevant experience in an FP&A role – experience as a finance partner previously, gone through multiple planning cycles.
  • Understanding of what a planning process involves from start to finish.
  • Good financial modelling/analytical skills – comfortable working with large datasets and pulling data together to form a cohesive story.
  • Clear understanding and experience of providing pro-active, insightful, value-adding analysis to stakeholders.

About the role

As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join us. You will be working with a group of highly talented and passionate people to not only develop, but shape the architecture and future of a unique platform that allows brands and local businesses to connect to their student customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Development using back end tools of B2B SaaS product and Student Beans website
  • Innovating current product and scaling it
  • New features e.g. personalisation, localisation
  • Operating in an Agile environment

This is an incredible opportunity for you to cross-train and use the most-cutting edge technology to internationalise our product that is engaging millions of students with the most famous brands on the planet every day.

Requirements

About You

We’d really like to hear from you, if you have…

  • 5+ years experience any back-end programming language: Ruby on Rails (desirable), GO, PHP, Python or Java.
  • An analytical mind – a passion for solving problems and being constantly curious!
  • The ability to work autonomously, as well as collaborate within a team on project-based work.
  • Bright ideas that you want to be listened to and a desire to really make your mark!
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience with TDD and/or BDD.
  • Experience with MySQL or other relational DBs.
