About the role

Student Beans are recruiting for a Design Studio & Project Manager to join our growing Brand and Creative team! This role sits within the the Design department, and will require you to work closely with the Creative Brand Lead, Creative Managers and Designers. You will be responsible for the planning and day-to-day delivery of design projects, working in partnership with Creative Managers and Department Heads, to focus on continuously improving the quality and delivery of work here at Student Beans! Our studio’s projects range throughout integrated assets including Print, OOH, Digital, Social, Emails, video, presentations, events and internal projects and documentation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking in briefs and assigning it to the designers, whilst maintaining a good handle on what is urgent and what is not
  • Looking at larger design projects and assigning critical project pathways to designers
  • Lead weekly/fortnightly planning meetings with department heads, to ensure all briefs are allocated to the right people and for the appropriate timeframes
  • .
  • Prioritising the smooth and effective running of our busy Brand Design Studio.
  • Planning and day-to-day delivery of design projects, working in partnership with Creative Managers and Department Heads to focus on improving the quality and delivery of work.
  • Managing designers time, discussing and delegating projects with the Creative Brand Lead and Creative Managers whilst managing communication to internal stakeholders out of the studio for turn around times.
  • Being an advocate for the Design team, giving them ample support to complete their assignments on time and ensure it’s up to business standards.

Requirements

We’d like it if you have experience in the following:

  • Familiar with Asana or a similar tool
  • Time tracking and estimation tools (we use Streamtime)
  • Has utilised principles of Project Management (Agile methodology preferred)
  • Experience working with cross functional teams
  • Managing projects scopes, timelines and budgets
  • Experience working to tight deadlines and juggling multiple business critical projects at once
  • Managing stakeholders across the business so that they are aware of the expected delivery dates, as well as reporting on team workload and project status
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, reactive environment
  • Must be self-motivated, solutions driven with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • A problem-solver and creative-thinker, who is able to work independently.
  • Pushing for things to get done – managing a critical pathway .

About the role

As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for a Social Media Executive to join us and manage our Instagram account. Responsibilities include:

  • Content creation for SB’s Instagram feed and Instagram Stories – both original video content where you act as ‘the face’ of our Reels, and via artwork with the Design team
  • Monitoring Gen Z social trends daily and producing reactive content
  • Working closely with wider Brand and Comms teams as a stakeholder for the social team when it comes to project based work
  • Regularly reporting on channel and content performance to adapt our social strategy
  • Produce content that creates an uplift in engagement, impressions and follower growth
  • Community management – regularly communicating with our audience, embodying our tone of voice throughout
  • Opportunities to create video content across key student cities / attend content shoots
  • Working closely with the Design team to continually develop our aesthetic on Instagram

Requirements

About You

We’d really like to hear from you, if you have…

  • 2+ years of social media experience, either in-house or in an agency
  • Experience using social analytic and scheduling tools (e.g. Social Bakers, Sprout, Sprinklr, Dash Hudson etc)
  • Experience working in a business with a social-first marketing strategy
  • Deep understanding of Gen Z and student needs, interests and behaviours
  • Creative approach and experience running Instagram activity
  • Strong data analysis background, ability to recognise social patterns and trends and identify opportunities for constant performance optimisation

About the role

As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for a Subscription Sales Executive to join the Voxburner team! Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Voxburner in the growth of Voxburner +, our online subscription for premium youth marketing insight and content.
  • Become a subject matter expert in Voxburner+ offerings
  • Managing client accounts, ensuring they are making the most out of the platform and gaining value
  • Outreach and prospecting through a variety of different channels such as linkedin, email, telephone and social media
  • Take ownership of the renewals process
  • Manage the whole sales process from opening to close
  • Building new business pipelines, nurturing leads through the sales process, subsequently adding to our existing portfolio of clients
  • Work alongside marketing to follow up with warm leads and convert incoming enquiries into sales.

Requirements

About You

We’d really like to hear from you, if you have…

  • 1-2 years+ sales experience
  • Excellent social selling skills
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator & Salesforce experience
  • A genuine interest and understanding of the youth marketing industry
  • A proactive and tenacious attitude, with a target driven mindset in order to close deals
  • Strong communication & relationship building skills
  • Previous experience in content/subscription/events is desirable

About the role

Student Beans are recruiting for a Developer with full-stack WordPress experience to join us. Sitting within the Design department, this role will require you to work closely with our Senior Developer and team of Designers to create new (and build upon existing) WordPress websites for both our B2B & B2C departments.

We’d love to bring someone on board who has a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end WordPress development (HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript), and experience working with designers to implement fully responsive, performant websites.


Responsibilities include:

  • Working alongside our Senior Developer, as well as working independently.
  • Development of custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Building on current WordPress applications to implement campaigns and other requests.
  • Testing and maintaining WordPress applications and servers.
  • Providing support and assistance for email templates and other ad-hoc requests.
  • Collaborating with Product, Design and Marketing teams to provide technical guidance and assistance on upcoming projects/changes.
  • Collaborating with designers to ensure web designs and assets are suitable.
  • Providing estimates for tickets and keeping teams informed of progress.
  • Ensuring websites are fully optimised and documented.

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience developing commercial websites (preferably WordPress).
  • Solid understanding of WordPress-based development, including bespoke themes.
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS (SCSS/LESS), JavaScript and PHP.
  • Experience in delivering optimised and responsive websites.
  • Experience using ACF and Gutenberg/Blocks.
  • Familiarity with MySQL, MAMP/WAMP & version control systems (Git, etc).
  • Beneficial: Liquid markup, Marketo API & templating experience.
  • Beneficial: Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator experience.
