I Saw It First
Online fashion brand I Saw It First tapped into the goodwill of their customers with a brand new range of social distancing-themed tees. 100% of the profits from the Isolation With The Nation collection will go to NHS charities. They partnered with TOWIE stars Bobby Norris and Saffron Lempriere to raise the profile of the launch across social media.
Business has been booming for Domino’s as takeaways become the nation’s favourite treat while eating out is out of the question. They’ve also made the delivery process safer by making it entirely contactless. However, it’s not just customers they’re keeping happy – they’re giving away £4 million worth of pizzas to our “frontline heroes.”
The high street favourite showed how much they care about their employees’ well-being when they made the tough decision to close their warehouses and halt online orders while they made changes to ensure workers could do their jobs safely. They’ve since reopened, promising to dispatch orders within 10 days, to a great response from customers.
One of many businesses who have stepped up to support the NHS is Samsung, which has donated 2,000 devices for use in the new Nightingale hospitals, as well as free phone sanitising machines and device repair services. They also donated all the outdoor advertising space they’d booked for April to the NHS for public health messages.
When most of Europe went into lockdown, vehicle rental service Europcar responded by launching their #Together program. Within its first week, they had provided over 2000 vehicles to support healthcare services and food suppliers, as well as drivers to support the food retail industry as it faces more pressure than ever.
